Here is a little bit about each one of our instructors. For more information, give us a call -- (760) 758-8308, or email us at QuiltingQuestions@FatQuartersQuiltShop.com! To sign up for any of our fabulous classes, and make payment to reserve your spot -- stop by Fat Quarters Quilt Shop!
Jill Hugins (always has a new project waiting in the wings) teaches our ongoing quilt class on Monday mornings. This class is currently being 'team teached' by the ever energetic Julia Fregeau.
Susan Gylling (the inventor of the Quilter's Eye) has been an instructor at Fat Quarters Quilt Shop since the shop opened in 1999. Along with teaching the beginning quilt class on Thursday evening, Susan also has two other ongoing classes on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings.
Loisann Terry (the newest grandmother of our instructors), welcome granddaughter Amalia! Loisann teaches Block of the Month classes (two new classes being added for 2010); ongoing classes on Tuesday evenings and Friday mornings, and our most popular Midnight Madness!
Dana Livingston has been an instructor at Fat Quarters Quilt Shop since the shop opened in 1999. Way to young to be the grandmother of (how many now?) Most of her projects are 'smaller the better' and so cute you just have to make more than just one! Dana teaches two ongoing quilt classes on Wednesday evenings, and Thursday mornings.
Kathy Cooper may be one of our newest instructors, but she is not new to teaching! She has started the Amalie Collection of quilts as her class projects for the next few months (although you can work on any project you desire). Kathy is enthusiastic and fun! She teaches on Wednesday afternoons from 2-5 pm. You can also take Civil War Quilts with Kathy on Tuesdays too!
Linda Pupols has been stitching for ... (she will appreciate me not saying how long) ... and now teaches quilt classes every Friday Afternoon from 2-5 pm. She welcomes all skill levels of quilters from beginning to advanced. She also teaches a once-a-month hand embroidery & hand applique class on Saturday morning.
Julie Isa (the mother of 5 children), has time to teach and still update her blog almost hourly. Julie has a full schedule but still teaches an ongoing class on every other Friday evening. And, if that isn't enough, she teaches a Basket Block of the Month, once a month on Saturday afternoons.
Jenifer Mathewson (works full time at a real job, and still has time to quilt and teach). Jenifer teaches an ongoing class every other Friday evening. Careful, she will spoil you ... most of the time she even provides dinner for her class!
Jo Anne Foster ... you can always count on Jo Anne for that next really good idea! Jo Anne is the brain behind the quarterly Block Swap and the little 'make it in an afternoon' Fat Quarters Quilt Shop exclusive patterns. Who knows what will be next!
Darla Epperson , recently retired school teacher, going forth to teach quilt classes. Darla is out pre-teen & teen teacher.
